Jonathan Pledger, MRes, BSc, LicAc, MBAcC, DS, is a highly experienced acupuncturist with over twenty years of experience in the field. He served as the Principal at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, the largest acupuncture college in Europe, where he also worked as a lecturer in Chinese Medicine and Clinical Supervisor on the acupuncture degree course. 

 

As a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), Jonathan adheres to strict Codes of Safe Practice, Professional Conduct, and Disciplinary Procedures to ensure that patients receive the highest standards of professional care during their acupuncture treatments. 

 

In 2013, Jonathan completed a year-long research project, funded by the British Acupuncture Council, focusing on the effects of acupuncture on children with autism. His work in this area earned him a Masters from Portsmouth University. 

 

Jonathan has also served as Director of the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board (BAAB) and as a member of the British Acupuncture Council's Professional Standards and Regulation Committee. His practices are licensed with Reading Borough Council and Wokingham District Council. 

 

In addition to acupuncture, Jonathan is a trained Shiatsu practitioner, having studied at the European Shiatsu School.
